TT Travel Files: Chicago

Aloha Friends!
Phew, we JUST got home from our big trip to Chicago, IL.

Just to catch you up, we were accepted into the famous Renegade Craft Fair. It's a traveling craft fair for independent makers, designers, food trucks and more. It's a curated show, meaning you have to apply and be accepted... Honestly, we had been applying for the past year. It was a DREAM come true to finally get the email that we had been invited to show :)

Here are some highlights of our trip! We call trips like these "BIZ-CATION" since we spend a lot of time working but manage to fit in fun where we can. Get it? "Business / Vacation" haha

Welcome to our booth! We are especially proud of our brand new banner in the background :) Oh and yes, we managed to build our own fitting room too! We are on our way to being Pop-Up Professionals right? We of course had to bring a touch of home with us, everyone loved our chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Before you ask, it definitely cold. Chicago has funny weather - the sun is a flirty one and likes to change its mind. Days before we left the temperatures ranged from sunny 70s to snowing 30s. We tried our best to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Summer's Outfit (Left): RYLEN Kimono Top + MIA Leggings
Mari's Outfit (Right): Dawn Shift Dress MIA Leggings

We are proud to say that our TT outfits withstood the rainy and cold weather! Our "Hawaii-appropriate" styles were perfect with a little bit of layering, warm socks/scarf, and a winter jacket.

We would like to say MAHALO to all the Chicago shoppers who came out to support all of us this past weekend! You are the true heroes of the event. Day 1 was rainy and the wind chilled to the bone but you troopers still visited...some of you even braved the cold to try on our clothes! We could barely take our hands out of our pockets so THANK YOU! We are so grateful for all of you.

These are some quick site-seeing pics we snagged. We spent a few days in the mellow suburbs enjoying the beautiful spring blooms. Then on our last day we enjoyed the city - the Cloud Gate aka "The Bean", the buildings, and the BEST hotdog we've EVER had.

So in closing, we had an AWESOME trip. We fit in good food, quality time with friends, and accomplished a successful Renegade Craft! We met SO many of the sweetest customers that we can't wait to keep in touch with, AND connected with creative makers too. We are re-inspired to keep on doing our thing because of everyone we recently met and all the support we received.

We can't wait for our next TT Travel Adventure. Thanks for reading along.

XO,
Ten Tomorrow Team
