We Are SO On Trend
So for those of you who don't know - every year, Pantone (the ultimate color-guide company), releases a "Color of the Year". As a designer, I'm constantly looking to them for inspiration and color-trend forecasts but I rarely seem to be in line with their reports. I often wonder if I'm just off the mark or marching to the beat of my own (not-on-trend) drum.... BUT THIS YEAR! I totally selected a new print that is EXACTLY their Color Of The Year!! We are just thrilled with the new print and wanted to share a little bit about what Pantone has to say about the hottest color this year too.
Allow us to introduce : ULTRA VIOLET.
Pantone says "A dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade, PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet communicates originality, ingenuity, and visionary thinking that points us toward the future".
We love that. There are a lot of new changes happening within our company, me as a designer, and our goals/plans and this color gives us hope and drive as we head into the 2nd half of 2018.... Don't worry, we will be keeping you all in the loop as we figure it all out :)
